Slinky Stove was invented to solve a practical challenge: enjoying a full-size fire pit without sacrificing valuable storage space.
Founder and inventor Eddie M. Cantelar developed a telescoping design that expands and collapses while keeping the fire pit body fully assembled. That approach became the foundation for successive fire pit inventions and a collapsible pizza oven attachment.
Eddie’s portfolio includes six issued U.S. utility patents. A seventh U.S. utility patent application received a Notice of Allowance on October 20, 2026, with all 15 claims allowed. Patent issuance is pending.

Modular Dual-Fuel Collapsible Stove with Rotational Docking Interface
U.S. Patent Application 19/645,188
This application received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office on October 20, 2026, with all 15 claims allowed. Once issued, it will become Eddie’s seventh U.S. utility patent.
The invention introduces a rotational docking interface for interchangeable wood or propane fuel modules, used separately, while preserving compact storage and portability.
Status: Allowed application; patent issuance pending.
